David has a quarter century of experience as a journalist. He currently edits At Home for The Press newspaper in Christchurch, as well as doing a variety of freelance work, editorial and photographic, for magazines and commercial clients.

David has a BA in English and German from Victoria University and a Diploma of Journalism from the University of Canterbury. He has also worked for Radio New Zealand, the BBC, and Radio Deutsche Welle.

David speaks German and French, loves travel and the outdoors. He is especially keen on all aspects of design, architecture, and innovative products.
